Cematic Pulse Jet Dust Collector Valves
Cematic's pulse jet dust collector valves are the ideal solution for automated cleaning control of bag filters and dust collectors in industrial systems. Thanks to their compressed air pulse mechanism, they shake the filter bags to dislodge accumulated dust without interrupting the filtration process. In addition, they are available in multiple connection configurations to adapt to any type of industrial dust collector.
We have pulse jet dust collector valves with aluminum bodies and integrated solenoids, threaded and tube nut connections, as well as replacement diaphragms for preventive maintenance. Therefore, we offer a complete solution for the installation, operation, and maintenance of dust filtration systems, regardless of the collector's size or configuration. In short, they are the key component to maintain filter efficiency and extend its service life.
Types of pulse jet dust collector valves
Aluminum Body Dust Collector Valve with Solenoid: The most complete configuration, integrating an aluminum body and solenoid in a single component. It also allows for automated electrical activation of the air pulse for cleaning the filter bags from an external controller.
Threaded Solenoid Dust Collector Valve: Designed for direct installation on collectors with threaded connections. Thanks to its compact design, it facilitates installation and replacement in existing filtration systems without modifications to the collector's structure.
Tube Nut Solenoid Dust Collector Valve: Allows for direct connection to compressed air distribution pipes using a tightening nut. Therefore, it is the preferred option in systems where the collector uses a tubular manifold for distributing cleaning air.
Aluminum Body Dust Collector Valve with Tube Nut: Combines the robustness of the aluminum body with the versatility of the tube nut connection. Consequently, it is suitable for high-cycle installations where greater mechanical resistance of the valve body is required.
Threaded Aluminum Body Dust Collector Valve with 1/8" Orifice: Compact version with a 1/8" orifice for smaller scale filtration systems or those with lower flow pulse requirements. This allows for adjusting the cleaning pulse flow according to the specific needs of the process.
Diaphragm for Valve Used in Dust Filters: Original replacement part for preventive maintenance of dust collector valves. Thanks to its availability as an independent spare part, it extends the valve's service life without the need to replace the entire assembly, reducing maintenance costs.
Principle of operation of pulse jet valves
Pulse jet dust collector valves operate by short, intense pulses of compressed air released onto the filter bags of the collector. This pulse generates a pressure wave that shakes the bag and dislodges the dust accumulated on its outer surface, which then falls into the collection hopper. Therefore, the filtration process continues without interruptions while the cleaning system operates automatically and sequentially.
Thanks to its fast-acting solenoid, the valve opens and closes in milliseconds to generate the necessary cleaning pulse. Consequently, compressed air consumption is minimized and the efficiency of the filtration system is maintained constantly over time, reducing operating costs and extending the service life of the filter bags.
Applications of pulse jet dust collector valves
Pulse jet dust collector valves are used in industries where dust emission control is critical for safety, process quality, and regulatory compliance. Below are their main applications.
Cement and Mining Industry: Controls the cleaning of bag filters in cement plants, quarries, and mineral crushing and grinding processes. Furthermore, their continuous operation ensures compliance with environmental regulations for particle emissions in these industries.
Food and Pharmaceutical Industry: Maintains the efficiency of filters in pneumatic conveying systems for food and pharmaceutical powders. Thanks to their easy maintenance design and availability of replacement diaphragms, they reduce downtime in regulated production lines.
Chemical and Petrochemical Industry: Controls the cleaning of filters in chemical powder and catalyst handling processes. Therefore, their aluminum body and resistant materials ensure reliable operation in environments with aggressive or abrasive dusts.
Power Generation: Maintains the efficiency of gas filtration systems in thermoelectric and biomass plants. Consequently, it contributes to compliance with environmental regulations for particle emissions in power generation plants.
Manufacturing and Metallurgy Industry: Controls the cleaning of filters in dust collection systems for cutting, grinding, and welding. It also protects the health of operators and the work environment by maintaining the efficiency of the dust extraction system.
